Stage 2 – Developing Ideas

A number drawings were chosen from the sketchbook, where parts of the pictures were re-organised. These were then redrawn and made into a whole set of different pictures. Elements of the original drawing were still evident, but were completely different in format. This was an interesting way of developing ideas.

What moods did they convey?

MYSTERIOUS – this gives a sense of darkness and intrigue

CALM – however with the colours chosen, appears cold

WARMING/COMFORTING – colours again, convey warmth and organisation

FUTURISTIC – colours and shapes are important equally and is reminiscent of machinery of the future

FANTASY – shapes were important here, colours chosen did not reflect the drawing, as they needed to be softer.

SINISTER – This originally was a negative shapes from a drawing and altered a number of times on Adobe. It gave a alien like structure.
